Equipment belonging to KCW

This appeals to the GOSL to investigate and tell the people what happened to the equipment that was in the KCW factory since its closure in 1990.

The Presidents, PM and MPs who were involved during this time:

·         Chandrika Bandaranaike

·         Ranil Wickremasinghe

·         Mahinda Rajapaksa

·         Srisena

·         Gotabaya Rajapaksa

·         Add Basil Rajapaksa

Equipment in the factory to be explained;

2 x 3.3kV Waste Gas fan Motors

2 x 3.3kV Mill fan motors

2 x 3.3kV Raw Mill motors

3 x 3.3kV Cement mill motors

1 x Quary station motors – breaker

1 x 3.3kV Simens switch panel with CBs

1 x Parsons 3.3KV switch panel and gears

1 x 415 V old switchroom switchboard

1 x 415V Siemens switchboard

1 x standby generator 415V and switchboard

LV switchboards

Control room switchboard (Kiln)

Electrostatic precipitator transformer

Stainless steel HV electrodes used on one precipitator

Precipitator transformer

3.3kV/ 415V Transformers

Weigh feeders and associated belt conveyors.

Station LV switchboards-several

Airflow pipes about 800mm in diameter – Mill fan circuit

Kiln No 1 & 2

Cyclones 1 & 2

Oil circuit equipment

All the LV motors

Kiln 1 Scherage motor

Cement flow pipes to the silos and the associated FK pumps.

Compressors.

HP Oil pumps for the Kiln

There was speculation that LTTE stole some LV motors to India and they may have taken the Cement pipes to manufacture Cannon.

If these pieces of equipment were sold to a private contractor, the funds should have been deposited into the GOSL account. If it was a grand theft, the thieves should be stripped of their civic rights.
