Solar System and the Gravitational Issues
Kanthar Balanathan
Earth spins around itself. Earth also rotates
around the sun. Earth has iron and metals in its core and core surface. Earth
is bombarded with electromagnetic waves (photons). Since it is rotating and EM
waves bombard the planet voltage is induced. This voltage causes
a current to circulate in the core. The current induces a field around the earth known as the Earth’s magnetic field. A magnetic flux density
of about 50 micro Tesla, or 0.00005 Tesla exists around
the earth.
Hence earth can be considered an
electromagnet. All planets in the solar system are electromagnets.
