Citizens' Obligations and Commitments to Their Country

1.     1833

 

In 1833 when the British merged the kingdoms and made Ceylon, no one from the Tamil quarters objected to the move. The reason may be obvious that the North cannot survive on its own as an area of administration or a country. However, it was a good move.

 

2.     1926

 

When SWRD Bandaranaike brought the Federal system proposal, Ramanathan and the crowd opposed and rejected it. This is also under the assumption that Jaffna cannot survive on its own. This was a good move.

 

3.     1928

When the Kandyan Council wanted a federal system, no one wanted it because they knew that they cannot survive on their own. This was a good move.

 

4.     1947  

During the State Council period, no one requested a federal government. Even the Filipino-looking SJV Chelvanayagam who represented Tamils did not request a federal form of government. Good move

 

5.     1949

 

Once independence was granted in 1948, SJVC demanded Federal and formed the Federal Party. This was intentional based on the presumption that he could be in the parliament elected via the federal demand, fooling the Tamils. Tamils are fools and SJVC was cybernetic clever assuming that he can withhold the seat via the federal demand.

 

However, SJVC failed and never got his federal demand. This was because of the economic state of the country and the country was small to have a federal form of government. The federal party wanted the world's attention and created terrorism via various terrorist groups.

 

However, later, group EPDP, decided that they wanted to go with the government because they wanted people (Tamils) to live and grow. The leader Hon Douglas Devananda is a politically mature politician and intelligent enough to run a ministry which he is doing now.

 

The federal party moved through various states ending up as TNA and failed. LTTE failed cause most of the higher-up cadre are from VVT and were smugglers.

 

6.     Religious Fanatism

 

7.1       Buddhism

 

Lord Buddha was born into a Hindu Family. Buddhism preaches non-violence. However, to protect Buddhism, people were scared over their Buddhism will be taken over by other religions they became violent. Eg. Myanmar, Sri Lanka, China etc. King Asoka became non-violent after the advice given by the Buddhist monks.

 

In the North when Nagar was habiting the area, Buddhism was practised. Malayalis came into the area after the 13th century. Malayali is dirty and caste conscious and they ill-treated lower caste people. Jaffna man shall not say that Buddhism never existed in the North. The Tamils were preaching Buddhism as it is a non-violent passive, loving religion.

 

6.2            Hinduism

 

Hinduism although practised by multi-millions in India, is a violent religion. E.g., Thirvilayadal Puranam preaches violence and this text was included in the “O” level curriculum. Thasavatharam preaches violence. This is the story of Vishnu who was born nine times to destroy evil, they say. Killing of a Yakka known as the Deepavali is Hindu violence. There are so many violent practices preached by Hinduism. The only people who preached non-violence and passive living to the proper are Swami Vivekananda, Avaiyar, Thiruvalluvar etc. This is why EV Ramasamy depicted that there is no god. In the ancient days, people used to worship nature. Called the Pancha Botham.

 

In Hindu temples in Jaffna, during Pooja, the area is like a war zone. One fellow will be blowing the Conch, a couple of fellows banging the dambalams, some fellows ringing the bells. Too, the area looks like a war zone. However, if you walk into a Panzale or Church, absolute silence prevails. Maybe that’s why the Malayali Thamilar behaves violently like Prabakaran.

 

7.     Current confused State of Tamils

 

The violent behaviour at the Thaiyitti was noted. People were in darkness. Before building the Vihara, the owner of the land was notified. Further, what is the problem with constructing a religious structure in the North when hundreds of Hindu facilities were constructed in the South? Tamils should know their limit to opposing and shouting.

 

7.1       Issues

 

The issues with Tamils: Tamils quickly study Law with the intent of entering politics. They may be incompetent nincompoops in legal and law, however, they get through the exam and become Attorneys. From the Elite families, all of them either enter politics and contest an election or become the suckers to the politicians. Tamil Attorneys should show their colours by practising Law in a Court of Law. As they are not competent in Law, they, enter politics as it is a haven with an income from salary or bribery and a safe pension. Tamil Attorneys are quite selfish and self-oriented and incompetent nincompoops. They may be not like GG Ponnambalam. If we take a cross-section of the Tamil political quarters, almost 90% are attorneys. The main issue is that they are incompetent with political science, and law and just LAZY.

 

At the Thaiyitti site, an attorney called Sukash behaved quite violently, arguing, and indecently talking in an unfriendly manner with the police. This is an attorney who should be in court helping people not on the road arguing with the police. This guy should be removed from the law forum for misbehaviour. Most of the attorneys have chicken brains.

 

For the last 75 years, what did the Tamil politicians achieve? Did they improve the living standards of the Tamils? Only practice caste difference and see that their kith and kins are okay. CV Vigneswaran is supposed to be a Judge. Can we conclude that he is a good lawyer? Among the Tamil Attorneys, now, who is a good lawyer? Everyone is making a noise like a chicken.

 

Thaiyitti is within the Sri Lankan Soil. Sri Lankan people have the right to build Vihare with the knowledge of the owner anywhere in the N&E.  Tamils have no right to protest and object.

 

Solution

 

Tamils should learn to coexist with the remaining citizens and have no right to object, protest, and enter terrorist activities and destroy SL. If they do not like SL, then they should get out of SL and go to the West to clean floors and toilets. Well, that’s what most Tamils are doing in Europe.

 

This is not the right time to have Provincial Council elections. Tamils should have sympathy for the 40% of Sinhalese who are suffering with no food, no job and no education for their children. The PCs shall not be given Police and Land powers. With Police powers Tamils do not know what they can do, and the result will be catastrophic failure. Tamils should be happy to live within SL as a nation.

 

If not the Tamil politicians are maniacs and tyrant selfish megalomaniac fools. MA Sumanthiran should know this phenomenon. He should correct the younger attorney maniacs.
