Dear Sir,

Knox City Council – Reference Aged Care

I recollect that the Aged Care was to be given to private industries to introduce competition. While the government has the right to decide, it is disappointing to note that the GOA wants to save money from aged care.

“Seniors built this nation, while the children will build the nation furthermore in the future”

I had several trips and falls within my yard at various times of the day due to old age. Cats and possum issues are disgusting in Rowville. People want to have pets but they do not want their pets to poo in their backyards. It has become our duty to pick up poos of walking cats within our yard and on nature’s strip every day. Please forgive me for bringing this up. KCC should decide about the cats and dogs, please.

Aged Care

I needed help and KCC Helped me to have some services like home service, gutter cleaning etc. I had to stop cos of the Corona pandemic.

This year I need some support safety railing in the front steps and backyard steps. I spoke to Maria and she was quite helpful and courteous and promised to address the issue.

Recently Grace called me and said that I should find my own OT and get the job done. She was quite rude and bossy. I request, politely that Governments service staff could be courteous, friendly, and polite with Senior citizens, not rude and bossy. KCC could have let me know in writing if they can’t do the job.

Me and my wife are orphans as I do not have a father, mother, brother or sister in Australia. I have nowhere to go for help and consider that Government is responsible for our safety. KCC should not read this as threatening or intimidating, however, as a polite appeal, please. Where can I go, Sir? I am an Australian and Australia is responsible for its citizens, please.
