Question directed to Chandrika
Bandaranaike
Dear former President of SriLanka. I have a couple of questions
to be directed to you since 2005. You were the President of SriLanka from 1994
to 2005. If I remember the LTTE moved out to Mullivaykal in 1995 after their
defeat in Jaffna. LTTE took civilians as human shield.
I believe and am sure that the military prepared a tactical
report recommending launching an attack on LTTE in Mullivaykal in 1995. The tactical
reason was to dislodge the LTTE before establishing a base in Mullivaykal.
However, I believe you did not take any action and have a doubt that you may
not have even read the tactical report. The root cause for the deaths of
several Tamils in Mullivaykal during the 2009 war can be directed to V.
Prabakaran as he was the person who was bent on establishing his base in
Mullivaykal. Hence you become partly to share the blame of the killing of the
Tamils in 2009.
You know that the LTTE had collected billions of dollars and
were rich. Some countries who wanted to do business with the LTTE in selling
arms and ammunitions may have decided to support the establishing the base. For
the country to sell arms, the LTTE must have a base. Hence, we think that some
countries want SL not to attack the LTTE.
There are other leaders who are also to be blamed in
supporting the LTTE which I will raise. You have an obligation as a citizen and
the former President to come out an disclose the countries that requested SL
not to launch an attack. For the President National Security and safety of the
citizens are important.
KP should disclose the truths.
