Fundamentals, Rudiments, Modus operandi that limit the progress of Sri Lanka

Many intellectuals and academics have written articles dissecting the causes etc of Sri Lankan ethnic issues, etc. My views have been posted in this article for Sri Lankans to read, digest and value for our next generation to progress and develop. The Sri Lankan culture is integrated with heavy piling on religion and assumes fanatic religious beliefs. Whether it is the Sinhalese, Tamils or the Muslims the religious and cultural beliefs are heavy, which curtails progress. I may say that in some way, the majority of Sinhalese were infected with racial beliefs and nervousness. Example: We can go back to 1956 to September 2024.

Please read my article on https://neuronmind.blogspot.com/2023/12/birth-and-growth-of-bribery-corruption.html.

The first shortfall in our society is Unity. The reason for the gap in unity is due to the avidity of power. Fundamentally, it is the avidity of political power that embraces the Sri Lankans to have missed the boat for the last 77 years. The absence of positive reasoning has contributed to the fall of SL from 1948 to 2024. To win power, SWRDB introduced the Sinhala-only bill. Being at Oxford, he did not have the perception to know what could affect his society with no knowledge of English. Then came the Woman PM Srimavo. She introduced the standardisation bill to limit the growth of other race,s inflicting growth of technological know-how in the country. Muslims on one side and Tamils on the other side. Tamils were worst in that they created issues to limit the progress and economy of the country. With the birth of LTTE, the economic downfall commenced. In the Sihala quarter, every Tom, Dick and Hary wanted to become the PM, and now The President. New parties were born, causing heavy liability to the country. The illiterates did not know the government spends a heavy sum in conducting elections and maintaining the MPs. At one time a Minister under the Srimavos government, Alidong Sirisena, held a portfolio. He cannot even write his name properly.

The opposition party claims that they can harm the Tamils more than the current government. That’s how SWRDB and Srimavo came into power. Mahinda Rajapaksa came into power to eliminate the LTTE. Hence, the government did not function on a democratic platform, but on a racial platform.

The Tamils were worse than the Sinhala quarter. Tamils did not bother about the country the economy or the production. The way they operated was to destroy Sri Lanka. The first terrorist was SJVC.

Characteristics of Tamils:

They are very caste conscious. Religious fanatics. Even if they have no food to eat, they will build temples. Every caste wants to build its temple. This is the reason for temples are built on every roadside. Every caste wants taller Kopurams (i.e. Tower). The Malayali Pandarams oppress the Tamils. The Pandarams go by the name of “Vellalar”. They are not patriots of their own country. Wherever they are they learn the local language. i.e. Norwegian, German, Dutch, Portuguese etc. However, they were reluctant to learn Sinhala. Now they have learnt Sinhala cos they speak in Sinhala in the Parliament. For one million Tamils in the N&E, why do they want Tamil Eelam/More power? The main reason is that only they can control the development of the lower caste Tamils. Now they are jealous cos the lower caste Tamils are developing in knowledge and wealth.

For example: GOSL had the NPC to function in 2013. What happened? Bribery and corruption caused the NPC to mismanage the Council.

As an example, I wish to give a summary of the KCW Officers Club. For fifteen years the club was operating at a loss. The reason is that the officers were not paying for the heavy drinks they bought. The youngsters elected me as the Social Club Secretary. Within one year I made a profit of One thousand five hundred Rupees plus gave them a free Christmas party with free drinks. I was there only for one year. From the factory, workers steel items like welding rods, bulbs, cables etc. In general, Tamils are lawbreakers. I was with KCW for only eight years (1969-1977) and I promise that most of the workers were not honest, but thieves.

Provincial Councils will push the country to the Sewer as far as the economy is concerned. There are two levels of government. (i) Central Government (ii) Local Government. The country does not need another level of governance.

Since 2024, the current NPP government headed by Cde AKD has been doing an excellent job. Citizens are becoming cohesive. The central government is headed by Cde AKD. Let the people of Sri Lanka elect the NPP to the majority of the Local Government Councils to prove that they are united and cohesive. Tamils have a long way to go to prove that they are a good community and a race.

Tamils do not practice a reasoning process. E.g. In the English and European cultures, the parents teach their children to act on the reasoning process before they take due action. Therefore, from childhood, children practice thinking of a reasoning process before they decide to act. The Russians are incompetent in some ways that they have not thought of humanity in the world except Putin wanted more power and land space. The absence of positive reasoning here plays an important part. Trump’s actions are positive in some ways (deportation of illegal migrants), except leading to a failure in the majority of his decisions without reasoning. This is where leaders fail in their decisions. E.g. Putin, Trump & Musk.

If SJVC had an intelligent brain with perception then the Tamils would not be in this dilemma now. In general, Tamils are not a race that carries out “reasoning” before they act.

---

Quote: “Perception is an active mental act. It is a dynamic, dialectical conflict between the self-perspective transformation and external vectors of power bearing upon us. That which we perceive is a balance between these antagonists”(Ref: Understanding Conflict and War: vol. 1: the dynamic psychological field, chapter 11, by R.J. Rummel)

Humans perceive different results about the same state, as perceptions vary from person to person. People assign different meanings to what they perceive.  This is why conflicts arise. (Kanthar Balanathan

Most Tamils do not believe in intellectual discussion but in physical actions (physical abuse/violence e.g. Archuna Ramanathan).

Although all human males are born with ≈1.5 kg of brain, not all perceive the same thing in the same perspective, the same way.

Good examples of Not reasoning are: Archuna Ramanathan, Sugash Kanagaratnam, Sritharan,

Most doctors who enter politics have no brain, intelligence and perception.

Hence, there is no necessity for another level of governance. This is from the experience of the Northern Provincial Council and the level of bribery and corruption.

Let a team of political and economic specialists sit down and work out a solution to be acceptable to all races. No illiterates come with proposals.
