Politics and Culture of some Tamil Doctors

Recent unrest at the Chavakacheri Base Hospital (CBH) and the A9 roadside has prompted me to write this small narrative of the politics and culture of Tamil doctors from my experience with the Tamil doctors in SL.

I was on holiday and in my village which is about six miles from Jaffna town, I experienced pain in my right side of the belly. My dad who was a retired Police officer (Sub-Inspector) took me to the Araly West unit and the Apothecary there asked my dad to take me to the Jaffna Hospital immediately as I had an appendectomy (serious). He took me to the Jaffna hospital and the doctor immediately checked me and fixed me for operation. This was on a Sunday around 5 pm and the operation was fixed for 10 am on Monday. I was taken to the theatre and the Surgeon did the operation on Monday at 10:00 am and I was looked after well. After one week I was discharged, and the doctor asked me to check with him every three days for two weeks. This was in 1964 April. During this time the Jaffna Hospital was clean, effective, and efficient with Tamil doctors performing their duties with care. For the one week there I observed every patient was looked after well. It was the love of the medical facility towards the patients that attracted me. There was no bribery or corrupt act during this period.

In November 1965, I was given a job with the DGEU (Electricity department). I had to come to Jaffna for the medical examination that was required by the DGEU. All the tests were okay and finally, the ECG test and the signing-off were given to the recently returned Physician. His name was Dr Jeyasingham, I think (Dr. J). Recently returned as FRCP. He said that I had a heart issue and that he could not sign (based on the ECG). He said that I might die within three years if I did not have surgery to fix it. My dad spoke to the senior Physician Dr. Aanantharajah (Dr. A) and Dr. A came and checked me. He told the Junior physician that it was okay to sign me off as fit for duty. I noticed when Dr A came the junior doctor was a bit worried. Anyway, I worked with the DGEU until I left for the UK to finish my studies and came back and worked with the Cement Works at KKS up to 1977. Cement is hard work as a Works Engineer. After this, I worked in Nigeria, Zimbabwe, New Zealand and Australia. Nothing happened to me, and I was quite well.

In 2003 at 60 years of age, I had a heart issue and went through an Angioplasty in Australia. AT 60 I would have retired in Sri Lanka. However, I worked until I was 75 as a Consulting Engineer and retired in Australia. Today, I am 81+.

The issue here is that I presume that the Junior Physician, Dr. J may have expected a bribe from me. He was from Heartley College, and I was also from Heartly College. The doctor was from Point Pedro.

In 2003 I was surprised to meet Dr. A at Gladstone, Australia. What I gathered is that ECG was not a true examination for heart issues as in Australia doctors do not value ECG, however, other examinations. Dr. A also expressed his opinion. I am bringing this information to propagate that some young doctors from the North have a blown head and think that they are superior, just because they are doctors. Only a few doctors are blown-up characters.

There is a Forensic Pathologist here in Australia who talks about caste, and he is great. The guy looks like an African, dark black and from Karaitivu (Karainagar). Whatever it is, he deals with dead bodies.

The issue at CBH is that even if the relatives want to claim the corpse of their relative dead bodies, the hospital staff demands a bribe. What a sick country is SL!

When I was in Nigeria, I went to see a doctor and it was a Tamil woman (Dr. Mrs Arumugam). She is crazy and a sick person. I never went to see her after two times. I managed my medical affairs.

In NZ and Australia, I have never consulted a Tamil doctor.  Always go to a Sinhala doctor or an Australian. In Australia and NZ Tamil doctors want to be the President or the Chairman of Tamil societies or organisations and temples. One doctor was the President of the TRO.

At CBH:

·       Why is the Northern administration keen on getting rid of RA?

·       Are these jokers scared that their malpractices may be leaked with proof?

·       The proof is that the people are with Dr. RA.

·       Why have some threatened Dr RA?

·       What happened to the expensive medical equipment that was allocated to CBH?

·       The Maffia group do not function the total time allocated to function but takes unofficial leave.

·       Maybe the private clinics have been throwing/dumping the Medi-waste at Ariyalai/Kallundai.

·       The Tamils cannot be corrected as they are not flexible, but rigid in their thoughts and actions.

·       Why cannot the government act against Dr. Ketheeswaran?

·       The 25 doctors get paid by the government and they also get paid by the private clinics they own.

·       How can they shift the state-of-the-art equipment to their private clinic? This is smuggling.

·       The character of Tamils is that they are always violent and in a fighting mode.

·       Does SL have an Attorney General? Do we have a law in SL?

·       During the NPC time, all four ministers were involved in bribery and corruption.

·       Why cannot Tamils correct themselves and live peacefully?

·       Most Tamils are megalomaniacs.

·       The Minister of Health should get up from sleep and act accordingly.

·       The Governor of the NP should be given authority to deal with the health department.

·       We all know that Keheliya Rambukwella was jailed for fraudulent practice.

·       It is recommended that doctors shall be dealt with judicially and prudently.

Open Letter to the GOSL, Governor of the NP and Minister of Health

Recent unrest at the Chavakacheri Base Hospital (CBH)and the A9 roadside will bring awareness to the government of the corrupt practices of some immoral and unethical doctors (maybe about 25 doctors) who did not practice medical practice true to the society and the government, but engaged in dishonest practice causing detrimental health hazards to the people of Chvakacheri. These doctors have been addressed by the people as the Maffia group. Dr Archuna tried to organise the Base hospital to serve the people true to society's ambitions, however, some corrupt doctors have been directing the patients to another hospital (Jaffna) and private clinics. It could be justifiable if the Base hospital cannot attend and the expertise exists outside the Base hospital in private clinics with specialists. The corrupt practice hurts poor people and the proletariat. With more than twenty-five doctors in the CBH, it is presumed that the doctors can easily attend to these patients. Either these doctors are lazy or the GOSL must accept that they have invested funds to produce waste, incompetent medical practitioners.

The policy and ideology of the democratic government that healthcare is free to the citizens are vital and the government is put under pressure and unpopular with people. Some corrupt doctors intend to make money through their unsubstantiated acts and put people under pressure. It is speculated that most state-of-the-art medical equipment supplied to the CBH has been either stolen or illegally transferred to some private clinics.

The writer has already identified the government or private hospitals throwing medi-waste and hazardous waste on the roadside (Karainagar road) and Ariyalai. These acts have been identified in the North for now. Still, the damn Tamils want Tamil Eelam and autonomous power. They cannot manage their domestic waste, however want more power. Firstly a child has to prove that he/she can manage himself/herself in all their activities before granting independence. That’s what the British did before giving independence to Ceylon.

It is recommended that all those doctors and Nurses who corrupt the CBH be transferred out to some hospitals in the South to  Deniyaya/Akurassa to teach them a lesson. If Not how is the GOSL intend to manage the hospital care?

Dr. Ramanadhan Archuna is an honest doctor according to his presentation and speech. The people were supporting the doctor.

Such a malpractice occurrence did not happen when Mr Mahinda Rajapaksa (MR) was the President of Sri Lanka. People in the North liked MR a lot. It may be that MR should become the PM or the President, however, not his relatives to occupy any chairs. Maybe Mr Namal Rajapaksa could be considered to be the potential candidate for the PM or the Presidency. The reason is that MR will not allow NR to go wrong. Please watch the following videos;

It is requested that the GOSL form a mobile audit group consisting of some CID personnel and qualified personnel to audit the Northern region hospital for correct functioning and against malfunction. The Governor should take some action to correct such occurrences. And not be lazy. And waste time in her office. It is high time now to form such a group (audit).

 

People in the North & East have suffered enough and GOSL shall not allow such practices and make a keen operable area.

Bribery & Corruption, Drugs, Sex scandals, illegal imports, and Child sex, always misdirect the public to political scandal.

Root Cause for the Economic Downfall of Sri Lanka

This article analyses the root cause of the collapse of the Sri Lankan Economy in various magnitudes. The principal cause is the lack of knowledge in political and economic analysis expertise of the Tamil Expatriates. In the late sixties, some educated people with clowns did a project on “EROS”, which is the Eelam Research Organisation”. It is not certain to what level they did the project, but somehow they were able to convince some besotted politicians then in SL on Tamil Eelam. The project team failed in the fiscal and financial perspective of the project and the unity the Tamils practised then. For a long time, some of the Malabar elites hated the eastern, Vanni and the island Tamils.

Initially, Kuttimani and Tangathurai took up arms. These two are illiterate smugglers.

Tamils want to get popular among the people, For this, they used the Tamil Eelam slogan. Some fanatic idiotic politicians promoted some youngsters to promote violence. The terrorist groups proliferated into various organisations, based on caste. First Kuttimani and Thangathurai, the hardcore smugglers entered the robbery of Banks and people. They name the organisation TELO.

Then came the New Tigers and ten the LTTE. Due to leadership struggles and caste differences, Uma Maheswaran created his terrorist group; PLOTE. Subsequent issues created several groups; EPRLF, TNA, EPDP, EPDLF, EROS, and the diaspora supported the groups. In all, there were more than 30+ groups. Who is intelligent? There is concrete evidence to support these facts. Malabarie eat String Hoppers and Pittu. Tamil Nadu Tamils eat Idly and Dosai. The North and East of SL eat string hoppers and Pitu as their basic stable food. In Kerala, people are different and they are jealous of themselves. To state about the leaders of the groups: Suresh Premachandran of the EPLRF is an oblivious, ignorant politician. EPRLF leader Pathmanapa a brilliant tactical person was murdered. The top murderer among the groups is V. Prabakaran (VP), leader of the LTTE. He does not want anyone to oppose him and if he finds someone a threat then he removes him/her. However, the VP is a man of discipline and honesty. He lacked vision capability and later lacked mission proficiency, maybe due to sickness at ageing. The confused illiterate form of liberation struggle led the groups and the Tamils to failure. The strong reason for the growth of the terrorist group is the support of the Tamil Diaspora (coolies + a few educated). If we analyse, today, there are political parties based on caste. What are these parties' objectives?

The increase of the weapons used by the LTTE, and some shameful countries helped the LTTE to develop aircraft and Naval boat design, and LTTE used these weapons to attack the Sri Lankan forces. Which are these countries? These countries did not have good intentions of helping anyone on this planet but destroyed Sri Lanka and destroy the economy of SL. Geopolitics had a triangular shape with India, China and USA and the UK hiding behind the USA. This is where the intelligence of V. Prabakaran skulks in where he has proved that he is nothing but a clown and a hoodwink. VP had no vision or mission and intended to fight a republic (SL) that had its strong integrated military with a rock-hard cadre. No wonder why the other groups opted not to join forces with the LTTE. In a way, we could assume that they had clever objectives, vision and mission than LTTE and the VP. Douglas Devaanda, leader of the EPDP, had a clear vision of helping the N&E to promote economic sustainability, and growth in some sectors, and move the people to unity.

The only reason we could assign for the military assembly of the LTTE is the brainwashing of the illiterate mass by the Tamil Diaspora. 80% of the Tamil Diaspora may be coolies who were involved in cleaning and labour work and they had a shortfall in perception. The only focus they had was the strong vision for Tamil Eelam which could not be achieved through foolish acts. These fools had no vision of the sustainability and knowledge of the unity of the Tamils. The educated Tamil from the Diaspora groups had their motives of entering the political arena of the foreign country where they are domiciled and they fooled the coolies in the name of democracy. The Diaspora also were able to get popular among the coolies and enter their local politics.

 

Vision for a peaceful and economically viable Sri Lanka

The geopolitics in the region has intensified the bedlam & pandemonium in SL & India, and humans who are selfish and megalomaniacs will attempt to destroy themselves. Thailand opening up a canal for Chinese ships will endanger the region, eg SL, India and the rest of the nations in the region.

Quote Google: The canal would provide an alternative to transit through the Straits of Malacca and shorten transit for shipments of oil to Japan and China by 1,200 km. China refers to it as part of its 21st-century maritime Silk Road. Proposals, as of 2015, measure 102 km long, 400 meters wide and 25 metres deep.

This was proposed by China as the pearl route. With Saudi Arabia's oil supply to China, tensions will rise with the US involved. The countries that may be perished will be SL, Maldives and maybe India. To have the Indian Ocean safe, China shall not get involved with SL for the oil route. China had planned this route and that’s why the Hambantota harbour was built. Maldives was attracted by China to oppose India and may become China's aiding state. It is a loss to understand the Politician's planning capability and how their incompetency missed this fact. It was Mahinda Rajapaksa’s period the gang allowed it to commence. Lack of international and geopolitical knowledge.

As of now, there are only a couple of options for SL:

1.      SL to merge with India as two more states to reinforce its military capability. OR

2.      Allow the USA to take over Trincomalee for maybe ten years to reinforce its military capability and Cancel the agreement for the Hambantota harbour with China.

3.      Build the land connection between India and SL. The road from Mannar to Rameswaram.

4.      Review the foreign policy and make it strong with able politicians.

5.      Jokers and කොල්ලොස් like Wimal Weerawansa shall not be elected to parliament. Politicians who have no strength in political analytical capability should not be elected to parliament. People like Hirunika, Daya Gamage, Pillaiyan, Karuna, Suresh Premchandran, Shivajilingham, Sritharan etc. Shritharan is married to the blood sister of Brigadier Theepan (Velayuthapillai Baheerathakumarn) who was a senior military commander in the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam etc and is a heavy liability to SL. These people and similar Sri Lankans may be murderers and idiots. Pillaiuyan and Karuna are murderers and have no general political or economic knowledge.

6.      Tamils to have a clear vision of what they want and analyse the future. Tamils do not need so many political parties.

7.      All Tamil Diaspora organisations like BTF, GTF etc shall be closed down as they drain funds and promote corruption. Individual thieves become rich. TGTE is to exist as a representative for Tamils and all funds from other orgs shall be directed to TGTE.

8.      Tamil Diaspora felons and imprudent organisations shall not be involved in Sri Lankan politics, to be precise; Tamil politics.

9.      With the current economic situation, even the PCs are not viable for another five years. Tamils need the PC, however, not during this corrupt period. We have experience of the four ministers who were involved in corrupt practices.

10.   Will the Tamil Diaspora fund the budget for PC operations? OR Will the Tamil Diaspora finance and provide a budget for Tamil Eelam?

11.   Seeman, Nedumaran, and Kasi Ananthan from Tamil Nadu are PRANKSTERs and  BUFFOONs. Nedumaran and Kasi Anandan want to be in the political arena, by shouting from TN. They have no sense of political and collective social views. These two are just clowns. Indian PM should do something about them. Seeman carrying a Tiger flag shall be banned. Vaiko has been kicked out of Sri Lankan politics.

12.   M.K. Stalin is a strong thinker, and planner and hits at the appropriate time.

13.   Tamils from SL are lazy people and they only want pensionable clerical and or easy jobs.

14.   All Tami politicians shall use their heads and brains.

Humans may have fought and destroyed Mars. It could be Arabs and Europeans. Now they have come here to destroy the planet Earth, maybe.

Tamils, Please do not destroy Sri Lanka. If Tamils boasting of Kumarikkandam (Lumeria) is true then the north will go under sea quite soon and SL will follow.

Will the Tamils come and live in the North and East? OR will they fund Tamil Eelam for its budgetary operations?

Tamils, please learn about Astrophysics and the physical environment. No Dwaraka can achieve peace on that island. The current picture of Dwaraka, sorry to say this; looks like an Unpleasant Tart.
